HIGH BOOT

Lasme's backing in to Upamecano as the pair challenge for a high ball. He raises a boot in a bid to get the first touch, but only succeeds in catching the Bayern defender in the cheek.
81'

LASME PACE

Bryan Lasme chases a long put. He has the legs on Hernandez and manages to dig out a cross that Neuer has to pounce on at his near post. It'll be interesting to see how the Bielefeld sub fares in a footrace with Davies...
79'

OFF THE BAR!

Gnabry keeps the ball in down by the by-line. The angle's tight and there are men in the middle, but he goes for goal and slaps the crossbar.
78'

COMAN!

Coman's caused Andrade all manner of problems. He gets in behind the Arminia left-back once again, only to see his fierce shot turned away by Ortega at full stretch. That's Andrade's final action - he's one of the Bielefeld changes.

OKUGAWA THE DANGER MAN

Upamecano's slow to react as Okugawa twists and turns in the Bayern box. He shoots wide, before the whistle sounds for offside. Bielefeld haven't given up hope yet!
73'

SANE WITH THE BREAKTHROUGH!

Sane's last action is to break Arminia's stubborn resistance. He collects from Müller outside the box, dead centre, and whips an unstoppable effort past Ortega for Bayern's 102nd Bundesliga goal of the calendar year - a new record!

61'

OFF TARGET

Müller pops up on the right-hand side for Bayern. He swings a ball into the danger zone, where Lewandowski heads over. Is it going to be one of those days...?
58'

WAYWARD FINISH

Coman clips a ball over to the left-hand side of the Arminia six-yard box. Sane swings his trusty left boot at it, but doesn't make a full connection and the chance is gone. You'd expect a player of his calibre to have buried that!
57'

MUSIALA ON

Jamal Musiala joins the fray in place of Leon Goretzka. The teen has the creativity to make the difference.
56'

BACKS TO THE WALL

Crucial intervention from Nilsson to put Coman's inviting low cross behind. Lewandowski was lurking.

BIELEFELD BREAKAWAY

Bielefeld have a man over in Klos if Wimmer can find him. He doesn't as Bayern recover to get men behind the ball, and his eventual shot hits teammate Okugawa. If Arminia are to score, you have to think it'll come on the counter...

RECORD GOAL?

Bayern have scored an astonishing 101 times in 2021, and can set a new Bundesliga record for most calendar year goals today. They haven't drawn a Bundesliga blank since 9 February 2020...

MÜLLER MILESTONE

Thomas Müller makes his 396th Bundesliga appearance for Bayern, drawing level with the great Franz Beckenbauer for league games with the club. It puts him joint sixth on the club’s all-time list of appearances in the Bundesliga since the record champions were first promoted in 1965. Top of the pile is Sepp Maier (473), with a gap then down to Oliver Kahn (429) and Gerd Müller (427). Georg Schwarzenbeck (416) and Klaus Augenthaler (404) can both be caught by Müller this season. The self-appointed Raumdeuter has started every match in 2021/22 and will surpass Schwarzenbeck by one if he keeps that up until the end of the campaign.

NAGELSMANN WARY OF IMPROVING ARMINIA

Julian Nagelsmann doesn't expect Bayern to have an easy time of things, despite the gulf between the clubs in the standings. "Bielefeld are improving," said Nagelsmann. "They have very clear patterns and always good ideas for how to get the opposition to open up spaces. They can be particularly dangerous from balls over the top. They have a good structure and always look to get in behind. They sacrifice a lot physically and in how they play, and defend with real passion."

WATCH: LEWY'S NOSE FOR GOALS AND HEART OF GOLD

Having won the 2020 Best FIFA Player award, Robert Lewandowski is now among the frontrunners to claim world football’s other major indi-vidual prize, the Ballon d’Or. Just days ahead of 29 November’s announcement of the 2021 winner, we get another angle on Bayern München’s multiple record-breaking goal-grabber – the devoted family man, with a huge heart for children.

FIGHTING TO STAY AFLOAT

Bielefeld are second bottom after 12 matches, with nine points on the board and four to make up on the safe house.

BAYERN THE CHASERS

Bayern's shock loss at Augsburg coupled with back-to-back Dortmund wins means the record champions begin the game in second place, two points behind BVB. The sides meet next week in the first Bundesliga Klassiker of the season.

MORE ON THOSE TEAMS

Andres Andrade’s in at left-back for Jacob Laursen, while Alessandro Schöpf is preferred to Florian Krüger in attack.
