GAME, SET AND MATCH!

Leipzig add a third. Sabitzer hangs up an inviting corner, and Orban towers above his marker to send an unstoppable header past Jarstein. Brilliantly efficient from Leipzig. Despair for Hertha.

NKUNKU!

Leipzig go straight up the other end with Nkunku. The Frenchman cuts inside and stings the palms of Jarstein, but there's not a red shirt in sight of the loose ball and Hertha can clear.
80'

RADONJIC!

Superb chance for Hertha as Gulacsi can only parry from Cunha. Radonjic is first to the rebound, but Klostermann slides in to block the Serbian's goal-bound shot. Heroic.
79'

KLUIVERT ON

Olmo makes way for Leipzig. Kluivert comes on, the Roma loanee making only his fourth league appearance since mid-December due to various injury troubles.

MUKIELE!

Hammer blow for Hertha. Guendouzi's caught dithering on the ball in his own box by the tenacious Adams. The American wins possession and finds Mukiele, who thunders into the roof of the net. No chance for Jarstein. There's a VAR review for a possible foul, but the goal stands. Long way back for the Old Lady...

OLMO!

Olmo chances his arm from range, attempting to catch out Jarstein. It's not far away from the Spaniard, who rattles the stanchion.

LIKE-FOR-LIKE CHANGE

Khedira comes through 68 minutes unscathed, having made his first competitive start since 23 November 2019. Arsenal loanee Guendouzi is his replacement.

FRESH LEGS

Nkunku's on for Hwang, the Frenchman looking to build on his two goals and one assist in his last three league games. Mukiele's also on for Haidara in a move that should see Adams move into the centre of the Leipzig midfield. Hertha respond by throwing on 17-year-old Netz, who opened his account in the 1-1 draw with Stuttgart last weekend, and Radonjic for Leckie and Lukebakio respectively.

WIDE FROM HWANG

Superb one-touch football from Leipzig. Angelino, Olmo and Sabitzer patiently await an opening on the left. They get it when Hwang arrives on the edge of the box, but the South Korean's first-time effort is comfortably wide of Jarstein's goal.
55'

SPECULATIVE FROM SABITZER

Sabitzer's first touch isn't great, but he still gets off a shot from range, drawing a routine save from Jarstein. Can't blame the Austrian for having a pop after that belter of an opening goal in the first half.
52'

GULACSI!

Hertha come again as Tousart threads a fine ball into the path of Cunha. The Brazilian is one-on-one with Gulacsi, but can't direct his shot from 14 yards past the on-rushing stopper.
51'

LUKEBAKI-NO!

Hertha break at speed through Lukebakio. He only has Orban to beat, but the Leipzig defender stands his ground, refusing to allow the Belgian to cut inside onto his favoured left foot. He takes aim with his right, but the angle's awkward and he drags wide.
47'

AS YOU WERE

No changes from either side at the start of this second half. Would be a surprise if we don't see Marseille-owned winger Nemanja Radonjic on for Hertha at some point...

LEIPZIG LEAD

Leipzig are moving to within two points of leaders Bayern, as things stand. Can Hertha - who were enjoying a good spell before Sabitzer's wonder goal - respond?

CUNHA RATTLED

The Brazilian is on thin ice in the capital, and the Leipzig players know it. He'll have to watch his step against his old employers.
35'

WIDE FROM SABITZER

Cunha concedes his eighth yellow card of the season for an unnecessary challenge on Adams. Sabitzer takes aim from the ensuing free-kick, but Jarstein appears to have it covered as the ball whistles wide of his left-hand post.
32'

NEARLY TWO

Angelino flashes a teasing ball across goal. Poulsen's skipped the offside trap and is all alone, but can't turn it in on the stretch. Not the best pass, admittedly - not what we've come to expect from Leipzig's pocket rocket.

STUNNING GOAL!

Leipzig lead, and it's a spectacular effort. There doesn't appear to be a great deal on as Sabitzer picks up the ball 25 yards from goal, left of centre. He takes a few touches, before swerving an unstoppable strike up, over and away from a dumbfounded Rune Jarstein. Outrageous - and just when Hertha were building up a head of steam.

LEIPZIG SANDWICH

Leipzig get lucky again as Cunha darts forward and into the box, shaking off a handful of red shirts. He's about to shoot, before Klostermann and Orban sandwich him off the ball. Cunha heavily involved against his former club.
23'

KLOSTERMANN TO THE RESCUE

Hertha continue to pose questions of the Leipzig defence. Cunha's chipped pass sends Piatek away down the right. His cross has Lukebakio written all over it, but Klostermann has other ideas. Superb last-gasp challenge to deny a certain goal.
20'

HERTHA IMPROVING

A mistake by Sabitzer gifts the ball to Lukebakio on the right-hand side of the Hertha area. He tries to pick out Piatek in the middle, but the pass is somewhat overcooked. Mittelstädt thrashes the loose ball back into the danger zone - it's only half cleared, before Cunha finds the gloves of Gulacsi with the aid of a deflection.
18'

PIATEK CLOSE!

Hertha's best opening by a mile as Mittelstädt gets in behind Klostermann and Adams. His cross flashes across the six-yard box, but has just too much on it for the sliding Piatek to make a connection at the far post. Let-off for Leipzig!
10'

RED WAVE

It's all Leipzig as Tyler Adams advances in the right-wing-back position. The American's attempted cross hits Marton Dardai, before going out off his own face for a goal-kick.
5'

HWANG!

The offside flag stays down as Hwang collects a long ball over the top. He's one-on-one with Jarstein, who is out in a flash to narrow the angle and gets down really well to save the eventual shot.
Kick-off!
