HEIDENHEIM PENALTY!

The home side have been awarded a late penalty for Gebre Selassie's foul on Mohr in the air.

AUGUSTINSSON SCORES!

Incredible scenes in Heidenheim as Bremen score in the fourth minute of added time to seal their Bundesliga place. Groß clips a ball over the top and Bartels is onto it, dribbling and beating Busch to the ball before laying it across for Augustinsson to smash it home into an empty net. The celebrations are huge and Bremen are staying up.

A foul from the Dutchman after losing the ball earns him a late booking.

GOING LONG

Long balls aplenty now for Heidenheim but Bremen are defending them well. Time ticking on...

STILL BREMEN'S BALL

Kohfeldt's side are working wonders here to keep the ball at the Heidenheim end of the pitch with time running out. Augustinsson is booked for some time wasting.

ADDED TIME!

We're now into five minutes of added time here. Heidenheim need one goal, Bremen need to hold on.
90'

BREMEN DOING WELL

The away side have the ball up the wrong end of the pitch for Heidenheim and have forced a corner as we approach added time.
88'

ANOTHER CHANGE

Christian Groß comes on to help the Bremen defence, replacing Sargent who has worked himself into the ground.
87'

EGGESTEIN GOES CLOSE

Füllkrug clips the ball across goal and Eggestein touches it past a defender and fires at goal, but hits the side-netting from two yards out. It was a tight angle, but Eggestein will be kicking himself.
85'

HEIDENHEIM HAVE A GOAL!

Unbelievable! Mohr's shot from range cannons back off the crossbar and Pavlenka is stranded on the floor as Kleindienst is on the rebound and smashes it home. Heidenheim need one more goal...

KLAASSEN SO CLOSE!

Füllkrug's low cross is cleared to the edge of the Heidenheim box and Klaassen collects it. One touch to compose before he curls a beautiful looking shot towards the far top corner, but this one floats agonisingly over the bar...
80'

FRESH LEGS

Rashica comes off for Füllkrug with 10 minutes to go here to add fresh legs to Bremen's attack.
79'

BREMEN NOT PARKING THE BUS

The away side are certainly not battening down the hatches. Sargent and Bartels remain high up the pitch looking to exploit the counter-attack, as is Rashica. Heidenheim will have to stay wary of that.
78'

LAST CHANGE

Frank Schmidt makes his final move with Multhaup coming on for Busch with 12 minutes to play. Heidenheim going all out for goals now...
75'

INTO THE FINAL 15...

As things stand, Bremen will remain in the Bundesliga and Heidenheim will remain in Bundesliga 2. The home side need two goals to change that, but time is running out...
70'

RASHICA WEAVING HIS WAY

A bright moment from Bremen's deadliest forward. He breaks way through midfield and goes for goal from the edge of the Heidenheim box, but it's blocked behind. Bremen pushing on, looking for a second goal which would surely now seal the tie.
69'

BREMEN CHANGES

Two substitutions for Bremen as well, with Veljkovic limping off with what looked like a calf injury. Sebastian Langkamp comes on for him, while Fin Bartels is on for Osako.
68'

Substitution

68'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Kevin Sessa and Tobias Mohr come on for Dorsch and Leipertz. Some fresh legs into the Heidenheim midfield and attack.
65'

MAKING LIFE DIFFICULT

While Bremen have let their own chances go, they have nullified the Heidenheim attack since the opening minutes of this second half. Into the next 25 minutes now, the next goal will be so crucial if we get one...
59'

SARGENT WITH THE CHANCE!

Superb from Sargent to turn past one defender into the Heidenheim box and he's one-on-one with the Heidenheim 'keeper. He can't get the ball from out of his feet though, and his shot goes straight at Müller who saves well.
59'

BIG CHANCE!

Bremen piling on the pressure as the ball comes Sargent's way on the edge of the box. He lets it run past him by shielding it from a defender and Augustinsson runs onto the loose ball and smacks a shot at goal, but it's well blocked.
57'

OFF THE LINE!

A corner goes all the way back to Veljkovic at the back post who controls and gets a shot away. It's going across goal and Osako is waiting to poke it over the line, but Busch is perfectly placed to clear it off his own goalline.
56'

BREMEN CALMING THINGS AGAIN

It was Heidenheim who made a flying start to this second half with three early chances in quick succession, but Bremen have since calmed the game down and are looking hungry for a second goal themselves. One more goal and it should be enough for them to be safe.
50'

OSAKO SHOT BLOCKED

Well worked from Bremen to exploit the home side's defence which had been stretched over to the far side. Rashica finds Osako in space and he shoots on his left foot, but it's a fine block from Busch to deny him in the end.
48'

HUGE CHANCE FOR OTTO!

Busch curls in a superb cross from the right flank and Otto has a free header at the near post. He's risen high to reach the ball and connects well with his header, but his aim is off as the ball glides past the near post of the Bremen goal.
47'

SCHIMMER AGAIN!

The corner comes in and is not dealt with by the Bremen defence. Otto almost smashes it in from in front of goal but misses his shot, but the ball runs through to Schimmer who has a go. He can only watch his shot sail over the crossbar, though, but a far better start to this second half for Heidenheim.
46'

EARLY SHOT

Schimmer is on and has a shot at goal from 25 yards with one of his first touches. It forces a good save from Pavlenka low to his right. Good early statement made by the home side.
46'

SECOND HALF BEGINS

We're back underway in Heidenheim and a couple of changes for the home side. Stefan Schimmer and David Otto are on and into the attack with Thomalla and captain Schantterer - who was only just coming back to full fitness - coming off.
Kick-off!

ADDED TIME

We'll have three minutes of added time here at the end of the first half.
38'

HEIDENHEIM STRUGGLES

The home side's possession - although in the majority - has not come in the right places so far. Kleindienst and Thomalla have hardly touched the ball, with most of the passing play going between defence and midfield. A home player, in fact, is yet to have a touch of the ball in the Bremen box.
36'

SARGENT HAS A GO

Osako does superbly to bring down a long ball forward and lay it off to strike partner Josh Sargent. The American runs onto the ball from the left, and sends a right-footed shot at goal first-time, but Müller is down well to save.
32'

NO RUSH

Heidenheim's players clearly not flustered in the situation. Things aren't working ideally for them, but they're not forcing things so far and are remaining patient. Sill, Pavlenka is yet to be forced into action in the Bremen goal which is something that certainly has to change.
26'

SARGENT TAKES A KNOCK

The American has hurt his back in a challenge and is slowly getting to his feet. Be sure he'll do everything he can to carry on here and it looks as if he should be able to.
24'

LOOKING FOR COMPOSURE

Bremen are pressing high and not allowing much time on the ball for any home player. Niklas Dorsch is the key, though, and he's looking to play the ball forward with any opportunity he gets. So far, Bremen's midfield trio has been able to keep him quiet.
18'

HOME SIDE FINDING THEIR WAY

It's been a far from ideal start here for Heidenheim but the home side are beginning to find their way. They did have less than 70 per cent of possession in the home leg, and only three teams scored fewer goals than them in the Bundesliga 2 season. But now they have further work to do having gone behind early on.
13'

REMINDER

Away goals are in play in this play-off, so as things stand, Heidenheim require two goals to go through. There will be no extra-time or penalties now with Bremen having scored an away goal.
12'

PERFECT START

Bremen did not register a single shot on target at home in the first leg but here in Heidenheim, they have mustered three in the opening 10 minutes and found themselves a goal to go ahead.
10'

KLAASSEN SO CLOSE!

The pressure continues and Augustinsson is the one to cross again - this time from the right. Osako challenges Busch for a header in the centre and it drops to the back post where Klaassen is waiting. He heads goalward, but Müller makes a good save at his back post. Meanwhile, VAR has checked over a potential penalty for handball and ruled no penalty.
9'

WHAT A HIT FROM RASHICA

Tidy work from the Kosovo international to touch the ball past a defender into space 20 yards from goal. He takes aim and smashes a shot at goal but Müller is well placed to tip it over his own crossbar.

SPECIAL KIT ON SHOW

Bremen have had a dream start to proceedings and it may all come from wearing a special kit for the game tonight. The Green-Whites are sporting a special Bremen City jersey for tonight's big game. "The flag on the neck, our home city on the chest and the Werder diamond where it belongs" do check it out on social media if you get the chance.

BREMEN IN THE LEAD EARLY!

What a strange goal to start this game and Norman Theuerkauf will be having nightmares. Bremen work the ball onto the edge of the Heidenheim box and Sargent attempts to turn and shoot. His turn leads the ball to Theuerkauf who attempts to clear, but instead kicks the ball into the top corner of his own net...

WE ARE UNDERWAY

The ball is rolling in Heidenheim and we are underway. The second leg of the relegation/promotion play-off.
Kick-off!

HERE WE GO!

We are seconds away. Bundesliga, or Bundesliga 2. Who will play where? Only one way to find out...

HAPPY AT HOME

Heidenheim have a superb home record this season in Bundesliga 2. Across their 17 league games at the Voith-Arena, Heidenheim have won 11, drawn four and lost only two games. They've scored 32 goals in those games and conceded only 13, as well as winning each of their last five matches on home soil. And top scorer Tim Kleindienst has scored 13 of his 14 goals this season at home, so watch out for him to get on the scoresheet.

A FINAL FAREWELL FOR PIZARRO

The legendary Bundesliga striker, Claudio Pizarro, is set to conclude his Bremen career having scored 109 goals in 250 Bundesliga appearances across four different spells with Die Grün-Weißen. He first joined the club in 1999 and could well conclude his playing career at Bremen in 2020. He will of course want to leave the club and the game with his beloved Bremen still in the Bundesliga, so look out for the 41-year-old Peruvian from the bench.

FOUR FORMER BREMNERS

Bremen contributed four players - Marnon Busch, Patrick Mainka, Norman Theuerkauf and Oliver Hüsing - to the Heidenheim defence who conceded a league second-best 36 goals last term. Three of the four start tonight in defence, aiming to send their former club down while sending Heidenheim into the Bundesliga for the very first time.

WHAT IS AT STAKE!?

It's the second leg of the relegation play-off and only one place in the Bundesliga is up for grabs. Heidenheim are bidding to become the 57th club to feature in the Bundesliga. Their third-place finish in Bundesliga 2 this season was their highest ever league position. Meanwhile, Bremen have not played in the second tier of German football since the 1980/81 campaign, when that level was still regionalised. They hold the record for most Bundesliga seasons played (56).

WAIT AND SEE ON BREMEN'S SET-UP

With two left-backs selected, it will be a case of wait and see on Bremen's exact set-up this evening. It could be a three-man defence with Marco Friedl on the left of Milos Veljkovic and Kevin Vogt, or we could see a four-man defence with Friedl push into midfield and Ludwig Augustinsson at left-back. As soon as we can see the set-up or hear word from Kohfeldt, we will let you know.

HEIDENHEIM TEAM NEWS

The home side this evening make two changes from their first leg side. Maurice Multhaup and Kevin Sessa drop to the bench with club captain Marc Schnatterer recalled alongside Robert Leipertz.

BREMEN TEAM NEWS

Florian Kohfeldt makes three changes to his side from the first leg of the relegation/promotion play-off. Captain Niklas Moisander is suspended, so in comes Kevin Vogt to anchor the defence. Meanwhile, Josh Sargent starts ahead of Niclas Füllkrug in attack and Ludwig Augustinsson is in to start ahead of Philipp Bargfrede.
