HAALAND!!!!

Wins it for Dortmund, surely?! Stunning ball from Akanji, world-class header from big Erling. Heartache for Fortuna...

WOODWORK AGAIN!

Desperately unlucky for Fortuna. Skrzybski scampers in on goal, takes aim and smashes the outside of the post. Bürki was beaten...

OFF THE POST!

Steven Skrzybski goes within inches of a first Bundesliga goal of the season, the Fortuna sub bending a low effort off the foot of Bürki's right-hand post. No slacking? The Chuckle Brothers would not be impressed with BVB's energy levels right now...

FORTUNA WANT IT MORE

Dortmund have dropped off. They're playing with little urgency. Fortuna are fighting tooth and nail...

ATTACKING CHANGE

Positive from Rösler as Skrzybski enters the fray. Hennings watches on...

FRESH DORTMUND LEGS

Gio Reyna's on for Hazard. Can the American teenager add a maiden Bundesliga goal to the DFB Cup belter he stuck away earlier in the year?

VAR DENIES GUERREIRO

Harsh on Guerreiro. He thunders in on the volley, but it's ruled out for handball after a VAR review. He couldn't get out of the way of that one as the ball was deflected into his path - looked more like a shoulder. Anyway, huge relief for Fortuna, who had gone close moments earlier when Sobottka drew a smart save from Bürki.

ERLING TIME

Ten goals in 11 Bundesliga games at a rate of one every 76 minutes: here comes Erling Haaland. The 19-year-old hadn't scored in two before missing BVB's previous two - three without a goal would be an unwanted personal record...

ROCK ON THOMMY!

More encouragement for Fortuna as Erik Thommy drives down the left-hand side, brushing off Lukasz Piszczek on his way into the Dortmund area. He takes aim from a tight angle, but it's a routine save for Bürki.

AKANJI DOWN

Manuel Akanji comes off worse after a clash of heads with Karaman, but is OK to continue. Don't forget both sides have five substitutes apiece...
51'

HALF CHANCE

Axel Witsel's errant pass is picked off and shifted into the feet of Kenan Karaman in the Dortmund box, but he can't bring the ball under wraps and Bürki can gather. Fortuna won't get many openings like that...

HERE WE GO AGAIN

Fortuna would take this right now, especially with Bremen winning 3-0 in Paderborn. Can they hold on? Can they trouble BVB?

ALL SQUARE

One big chance for Dortmund, but not much else. It's all very much to play for in Germany's fashion capital...

HENNINGS NEEDED?

Uwe Rösler will be happy with how his side have acquitted themselves in the first half, even if they are still to test Roman Bürki in the BVB goal. You do wonder whether that'll change without 14-goal target man Rouwen Hennings on the pitch...
36'

DORTMUND COMFORTABLE

BVB are dominating proceedings in Düsseldorf, albeit without finding too much joy in the final third against a well-drilled Fortuna defence. Expect to see Erling Haaland in the second half, if the visitors don't find a way through before the hour mark.

HOFFMANN HEROICS

Brilliant from Dortmund as Sancho flicks Hakimi's through-ball into the path of Brandt. He races in on goal, but Andre Hoffmann puts in a superb recovery challenge to delay the shot and force the Dortmund attacker wide.

AROUND THE GROUNDS

Second-bottom Bremen have taken the lead against bottom side Paderborn. Fortuna could fall into the automatic drop zone if results go against them, remember...
18'

BIG CHANCE!

Sancho's through on goal with Hakimi to his left, and only Fortuna goalkeeper Kastenmeier ahead of them. He takes the selfless route, but Hakimi - perhaps not realising just how much time he has - rushes his effort and Kastenmeier is out to make the block. Guerreiro threads the loose ball back out to Sancho, but his cross is hoofed clear by a white shirt. Dortmund should be ahead!

TITLE TALK

If Dortmund don't win this and Bayern go and beat Gladbach later today, that's it for the title race...

SANCHO ON THE MOVE

Jadon Sancho wins the game's first corner, ducking out of a rather rash Niko Gießelmann challenge in the process. The Dortmund No.7 hangs about to take the set-piece and finds Emre Can, who can only loop a header into the arms of Florian Kastenmeier.

FORTUNA PROMISE

Markus Suttner sweeps an inviting ball into the box for Kenan Karaman. He takes on the shot, but Mats Hummels is across to block. Encouraging little move from the home side, applauded by coach Uwe Rösler.

NICE THREADS

Fortuna are sporting a 125-year anniversary special of white shirts, red shorts and white socks. Apparently it's the sixth different kit they've stepped out in this season - a Bundesliga record. Dortmund are decked head to toe in yellow.
Kick-off!

TEAMS OUT

Kick-off is imminent at the Merkur Spiel-Arena, where the green baize looks absolutely immaculate...

FORM

Dortmund have claimed 33 points from a possible 39 so far in 2020. Only Bayern have accumulated more (37). Düsseldorf have taken 13 from as many games, but have only lost two of 11 since Uwe Rösler replaced Friedhelm Funkel as head coach on 29 January.

PERMUTATIONS

Dortmund will stay second whatever happens this weekend. They're currently a point clear of RB Leipzig, who won 2-0 way to Hoffenheim on Friday, but seven adrift of leaders Bayern Munich with four rounds of fixtures remaining. The defending champions travel to fourth-placed Borussia Mönchengladbach later today, albeit without suspended forwards Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller. As for Fortuna, they're perched precariously in the relegation play-off spot, with a three-point cushion on the automatic drop zone, but three behind outright safety. No matter their result against Dortmund, the Rhineland club could really do with rock-bottom Paderborn beating second-bottom Werder Bremen and 15th-placed Mainz dropping points against 13th-in-the-table Augsburg, themselves only four clear of the Bundesliga basement.

MORE ON THAT FORTUNA TEAM

Rouwen Hennings has to settle for a place on the bench, despite scoring three goals in his last two. The returning Marcel Sobottka is the extra man in midfield, and there's also a start for Niko Gießelmann on the left flank. Adam Bodzek is suspended.

MORE ON THAT DORTMUND TEAM

Erling Haaland is only fit enough for a place on the bench, after returning from the knee problem which kept him out of recent wins over Paderborn and Hertha Berlin. Julian Brandt lines up off the shoulder of Jadon Sancho and Thorgan Hazard once more, while Emre Can reverts to his preferred midfield role as Lukasz Piszczek returns on the right-hand side of Lucien Favre's three-man defence.
