Even without Lewandowski and Müller it's the same so far, with the home side looking to force Gladbach - whose centre-back pair of Elvedi and Ginter are two of the most composed on the ball in the league - into mistakes.

WHAT'S AT STAKE?
For Bayern it's clear. Their seven-point cushion at the top has been reduced to four, but a win today will keep them on course to clinch the Bundesliga title next weekend at Bremen. For Gladbach, this game is just as important. The Foals are level on points with fifth-placed Leverkusen - who face Schalke tomorrow - and need to make sure they stay ahead of their rivals for the final spot in the UEFA Champions League for next season.
REVERSE FIXTURE MEMORIES
The battle that took place on Matchday 14 at Borussia-Park was one of the games of the season so far. Ivan Perisic put Bayern ahead on 49 minutes before Ramy Bensebaini equalised on the hour-mark for what made for a thrilling ending. Martinez brought down Thuram in the box in the 90th minute and Bensebaini stepped up with the game on the line to slot the spot-kick past Manuel Neuer and send the home fans into raptures. He starts again today, and will be looking to keep his record against Bayern perfect.
BAYERN'S BOGEY TEAM
Gladbach have won three of their last five meetings with Bayern. Ramy Bensebaini - with his only Bundesliga brace - sealed a 2-1 win for the Foals with a stoppage-time penalty in the reverse fixture. With Herrmann and Stindl, the Foals have two players who love playing the champions. Stindl has been directly involved in a goal in five of his seven games against Bayern with Gladbach (three goals, two assists). He was won four, drawn one and lost just two of those games, while Herrmann has won more games against Bayern for Gladbach (six) than any other Foal before him.
NO MÜLLER OR LEWY
In Lewandowski (30 goals, three assists) and Müller (seven goals, 20 assists), Bayern will be without the two players responsible for 66 per cent of their Bundesliga goals this season. Joshua Zirkzee is an able replacement though and proved his worth twice this season with game-winning goals at Freiburg and Wolfsburg in consecutive games in the first half of the season.

Four changes for Hansi Flick to his side that won 4-2 at Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. Both Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller are suspended, with Ivan Perisic and Joshua Zirkzee coming in. Michael Cuisance also starts in midfield with Kingsley Coman dropping out, while Alphonso Davies is given a rest after starting each of Bayern's last 28 games in all competitions with Lucas Hernandez starting ahead of him at left-back.

Just the one change today for Marco Rose, and it's an enforced one. The suspended Alassane Plea is out and replaced by Christoph Kramer, who drops into holding midfield with Florian Neuhaus and Jonas Hofmann either side of him. NO TITLE FOR BAYERN TODAY
It could have been today that Bayern got their hands on an eighth consecutive Bundesliga title, but celebrations are on hold for at least another week. Erling Haaland scored a 95th-minute winner at Fortuna Düsseldorf to give Borussia Dortmund all three points, thus closing the gap between the top two to just four points with three games still to play after this weekend. Bayern can win tonight and next week, however, and clinch the title against Werder Bremen.
