The Brazilian strikes at goal from 20 yards, with a small deflection off Piatek, but Gulacsi is able to adjust and save it with ease.

ADDED TIME

We'll have four minutes of time added on at the end of this game. One last chance for either side?
85'

TIME FOR A WINNER?

The ball is all Hertha's as they push forward looking for another go-ahead goal late on here. Leipzig defending first and foremost, looking to hold onto a point due to their one man deficit.
82'

PIATEK FIRES HERTHA LEVEL

The substitute fires the penalty away with a similar run-up to that of fellow Poland international Lewandowski. He sends Gulacsi the wrong way for his second goal in the Bundesliga, both of which have come from the spot.
81'

HERTHA PENALTY!

Cunha wins the penalty from a challenge made by Lookman. A rash challenge in the box.
79'

NGANKAM ON

The 19-year-old Berlin-born forward is on for just his second Bundesliga appearance. Can he become a hero for Hertha?
79'

Substitution

75'

SCHICK BY NUMBERS

That goal was the first scored from outside of the box for Schick. It's also the fifth straight he has scored at home, having scored his first three away from home.

15 TO GO...

Leipzig have the lead but are down to 10 men... how is this one going to end? Arne Maier is getting ready to come on for the away side as well...
71'

HERTHA ATTACKING NOW

With a one-man advantage and a deficit to overturn, Labbadia is holding nothing back here. Darida and Lukebakio are off and replaced by Piatek and Dilrosun.
68'

SCHICK PUTS LEIPZIG AHEAD!

He takes credit for the goal, but it may go down as an own-goal from Jarstein. Since going down a man they have been the better side. Leipzig win the ball back in the Hertha half and Werner plays Schick the ball on the edge of the Hertha box. He controls and fires a shot at goal which Jarstein initially saves, but he then parries into his own net as he attempts to gather it. A nightmare situation for the Hertha 'keeper.
68'
Patrik Schick
63'

HALSTENBERG SENT OFF

The Leipzig defender has been shown a red card for a late foul against Matheus Cunha, his second yellow card.
60'

MITTELSTÄDT DOWN

The substitute left-back is now down for Hertha with a thigh problem. He's taken treatment and is back on the pitch for the moment.
58'

LOOKMAN BRINGS PACE

The Englishman forward is on in place of Dani Olmo here with plenty of time to influence the game. Nagelsmann looking to utilise his pace on the wings in place of Dani Olmo.
57'

TOURUNARIGH BOOKED

His second yellow card of the season comes after a high foot on Nkunku.
56'

LEIPZIG COOKING

The home side work a good chance for Schick through Olmo and Werner down the right. Werner's cross controlled on the chest of the Roma loanee and his acrobatic effort makes Jarstein alert, but he doesn't get the right connection.
50'

HALF CHANCE

Adams looks to find a teammate in the Hertha box but his whipped cross goes all the way through and out for a goal kick. The USMNT star is pushing up as a wing-back here, looking to get involved in Leipzig going ahead for the first time today.
47'

LEIPZIG COMPACT

If you're following our live updates via mobile or through the Bundesliga app, you'll be able to check the average positions of both sides with our new features. In the first half, Leipzig were incredibly compact in the middle with very little width and a high defensive line.

ADDED TIME

We'll have four minutes of added time at the end of the first half.
42'

PEKARIK CAUTIONED

The Hertha full-back is given a yellow card for pulling down Nkunku on a counter-attack.
41'

IBISEVIC FIRES OVER!

Another big chance for Hertha and Ibiseivc. Lukebakio is flicked in behind the Leipzig defence down the right and cuts the ball back to the edge of the box where the captain is waiting. He has time to pick his spot, but leans back and fires the ball high over the Leipzig crossbar. Not his most clinical performance in front of goal so far.
40'

APPROACHING THE BREAK

The home side have only marginally had more possession than Hertha in this first half, and the away side have enjoyed just as many attempts on goal (5) as Leipzig. Both sides goals coming from set pieces tells the story of the game so far. A difficult one for either side to take control of and to find ways through the other.
35'

LAIMER NOW DOWN

Another injury here, this time for the home side with Laimer taking treatment to his left arm/shoulder. He should be able to continue with the home side yet to be forced into a change in the game, but had to make one before with Adams starting ahead of Kampl.
34'

IBISEVIC HEADS WIDE

Hertha making the most of every set piece opportunity they have so far to work a chance on goal. They are also not allowing simple chances for Leipzig at the other end. A good start for the away side thus far.
30'

GRUJIC NOW DOWN

The clashes of heads are continuing here with Hertha goalscorer Grujic now down after a challenge in the air from Sabitzer. He should be able to continue, but we have seen plenty of those duels already in the opening half an hour.
24'

KLOSTERMANN EQUALISES

The defender is up from the back for a corner which is whipped into the box by Nkunku and Leipzig are level.
12'

CLASH OF HEADS

Another challenge in the air now as it's Dani Olmo and Vladimir Darida who come together. Both are down and taking treatment right now.
12'

IBISEVIC FIRES WIDE

A great counter from Hertha as Cunha drives forward down the left. His cross goes through to Lukebakio on the far side, who touches the ball inside for Ibisevic to strike on the run, but his curling effort glides wide of Gulacsi's goal.
11'

EARLY CHANGE

Disappointment here for Hertha as, despite taking that corner, Plattenhardt is going to have to come off after the knock to his head. Mittelstädt comes on in his place.
9'

GRUJIC FIRES HERTHA AHEAD!

What a start for the away side. Plattenhardt curls a fantastic corner into the Leipzig box and Grujic times his run perfectly to meet the ball as it drips into the mixer, right in front of goal. He volleys at goal and it goes into the top corner past Gulacsi.
9'
Marko Grujić
8'

LAIMER HAS A GO

The first shot on goal of the game comes from the Austrian midfielder. He's found by fellow countryman Sabitzer on the edge of the box and powers a strike goalwards, but it is straight at Rune Jarstein.
5'

PLATTENHARDT TAKES A KNOCK

A heavy challenge in the air between Marvin Plattenhardt and Tyler Adams. The Hertha left-back comes off worse and is taking treatment on the pitch.
4'

IBISEVIC FIRES WIDE

A great counter from Hertha down the left with Cunha. He crosses into the box and it bounces through to Lukebakio on the far side. The winger touches the ball inside for Ibisevic to strike on the run at the edge of the Leipzig box, but he doesn't get enough curl on his effort as it glides wide of goal.
4'

FORMATION ALWAYS CHANGING

With the ball, Adams is pushing on as a wing-back with Nkunku opposite him leaving three defenders at the back in Upamecano, Klostermann and Halstenberg. Transitions are always fun to watch when Leipzig are playing and it looks like we'll be seeing plenty tonight.
2'

LATE TEAM NEWS

Kevin Kampl pulled up injured in the warm-up for Leipzig and so Tyler Adams is starting in his place at right-back. Leipzig starting the game with a back four.

AWAY WE GO!

We're underway in Leipzig for the first of five games today in the Bundesliga.
Kick-off!

A MOMENT OF SILENCE

The players will observe a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the coronavirus.

READY TO ROLL

We've got players heading out onto the pitch and we're almost ready for kick-off...

VEDAD TO SCORE FIRST AGAIN?

Of Ibisevic's 43 goals for Hertha, 19 have been the opening goal of a game while the Berliners are undefeated when Ibisevic has scored first (W15, D4). Can he open the scoring again tonight?

HERTHA LOVING LIVE WITH BRUNO

Hertha are unbeaten in their two games since Bruno Labbadia took over the helm. A 3-0 win at Hoffenheim and a 4-0 win over Union, but this could be their biggest test. In their derby win over Union, Hertha scored three goals or more in the second half of a Bundesliga game for the second game running.

LEIPZIG HAVE THE HISTORY

Leipzig have won six of the seven Bundesliga meetings between the two sides, with Hertha's sole victory coming at the Red Bull Arena in 2017 courtesy of a 3-2 victor. Nagelsmann's side have picked up all three points in all four of the last four matches against Hertha and have scored 18 goals in the process. They've chalked up 26 goals in total against Hertha, more than against any other team and this match averages a goal every 19 minutes.

THE CUNHA DERBY

It's a return to his former home for Brazilian star Matheus Cunha as he comes back to RB Leipzig for the first time since his move to Hertha Berlin in January. Cunha scored nine goals in 52 appearances for Leipzig across two seasons and has made a fantastic start to life in the German capital. The 21-year-old has scored four goals and added an assist in his six appearances for the Old Lady.

LEIPZIG TEAM NEWS

Just the one change for Julian Nagelsmann's side, as well. It's Patrick Schick who comes in for the injured Yussuf Poulsen in attack. Leipzig have maintained a three-man defence in recent weeks and we will have to wait and see if that is how they line-up tonight. Konrad Laimer could drop to right-back to complete a four-man backline, or he will partner Kevin Kampl in defensive midfield.

HERTHA TEAM NEWS

The capital club are unchanged by Bruno Labbadia for this game after their 4-0 win over city rivals Union Berlin last weekend. Vedad Ibisevic continues in attack, with Matheus Cunha out on the left coming up against his former side for the first time since he left RB Leipzig in January.
