Nagelsmann's side threw everything forward and levelled the score through Nkunku's late stunner, but were unable to grab a late winner. All of which means... Gladbach are packing men into their penalty box as they look to preserve their lead. Nkunku jinks his way past a couple of tackles on the edge of the area before laying it off to Olmo, who curls a low shot towards the bottom corner. Sommer sees it all the way though, and makes a comfortable save.

The striker peels off at the back post to get on the end of Sabitzer's deep cross. He heads it across the face of goal, looking for either Werner or Poulsen, but neither are able to get there quickly enough and Sommer gratefully snatches it on the bounce. Leipzig are really pushing now.

The Gladbach left-back is given time to march forward on the left and pick out a cross into the middle. He's looking for Plea at the back post and his delivery is decent, right in the space between the goalkeeper and the defender, but it's too strong for the Gladbach attacker to get there.
