BACK UNDERWAY

No changes at the break from either side as we get the second half underway. Let's hope for another half like the first!

KRAMARIC BREAKS THE HOFFENHEIM RECORD

WIth that goal, Andrej Kramaric has become Hoffenheim's leading goal scorer in their Bundesliga history. His 47th strike takes him ahead of Sejad Salihovic and completes an incredible piece of history for the Croatian.

HOFFENHEIM MAKING LEVERKUSEN PAY ON THE COUNTER

The home side have been incredibly clinical and ruthless on the counter, and with finishing their chances. Leverkusen had been on top but one opening was all Nagelsmann's side needed to end the game with a fourth goal of the night.
79'

WAS IT BELFODIL OR KRAMARIC?

Amiri does superb to win the ball back in his own half and find Demirbay who then sent Hoffenheim on their way. Otto played in Belfodil who poked the ball at goal, and it looks as if Kramaric did just touch the ball in on the line. He takes a hat-trick away from Belfodil and earns himself another goal for the season, making it 11 for the campaign.

LEVERKUSEN ON TOP

Chances have become a premium in the last 10 minutes, but it is Leverkusen who are in control of the possession at the moment in this game. They've had eight shots to Hoffenheim's two in this second half - will they take one?
69'

GOALS STILL IN THIS ONE

Hopefully we haven't cursed this game now, but it looks as if there are certainly more goals to be scored in this game. Both sides still going all out in attack with Hoffenheim not changing their approach despite being two goals ahead. One substitution remaining for Leverkusen, which you'd imagine will see either Paulinho or Alario come on.
61'

BELFODIL HAS A BRACE!

A superb goal from the in-form striker who perfectly controls Grillitsch's long ball over the Leverkusen defence. He then cuts inside past Weiser and fires into the bottom corner at Hradecky's near post with an outstanding bit of striker's play. His sixth goal in his last seven matches.

BAILEY TAKES HIS TIME

The ball comes to the Jamaican on the left side of the box and he hesitates to shoot after his first touch, allowing Kaderabek to close him down. He's still able to get a shot away, but it lacks power after the ball becomes stuck underneath him and Baumann makes a good save low to his left to keep it out.
59'

BRANDT GOES CLOSE

The German international works the ball onto his left foot on the edge of the Hoffneheim box and shoots at goal, but it deflects off Kaderabek and over the crossbar. Weiser then forces a fine save from Baumann with his effort from the edge of the box as Leverkusen press for another equaliser.
51'

WELCOME TO THE GAME, AMIRI!

The substitute picks up the ball in midfield with his first touches of the game before finding Kaderabek on the right. The full-back then returns the ball to Amiri just inside the Leverkusen box, and he shoots at goal and sees his effort deflect off Sven Bender and beyond Hradecky's reach. The goal has been credited to Sven Bender with an own goal, though.

JOELINTON COMING OFF

The Brazilian went down after stepping on the ball in the wrong way and turning his knee badly. He is replaced by Amiri for our third substitution of the game, sadly, due to injury.
47'

HAVERTZ SHOWS HIS CLASS

Incredible control from the teengaer, who brings down Volland's cross onto his chest, and then immediately opening space for himself with close control on his left foot before shooting at goal. This time Baumann saves well.

MORE OF THE SAME PLEASE...

Two superb goals with fantastic assists, a disallowed strike and two forced substitutions for Leverkusen. If you wanted drama on the Bundesliga's return to action, then you've already had your fair share and we're only halfway through the game.
43'

BREATHLESS FIRST HALF

Half-chances at either end as a set-piece almost forced an own goal from Leverkusen, with the ball bouncing off Baumgartlinger and into the hands of Hradecky on the goalline. Minutes later and Brandt volleyed a ball over Baumann's goal with more time and space than he'd realised. Either way, this has been a non-stop first half that all the neutrals won't want to end.
36'

BENDER OFF INJURED

A second injury of the first half for Leverkusen as captain Lars Bender has to be replaced by Mitchell Weiser. A nightmare first half for Bosz, but his side are at least level.
35'

BITTENCOURT GOES SO CLOSE!

Chances galoe here! The German show more fight to reach a cross to the back post ahead of Aranguiz, and clips the ball towards goal. But his effort curls just wide as Hradecky charges across his line.
32'

GOOO... NO!

Hoffenheim have the ball in the net through Beflodil, after he poked home the rebound from Hübner's header. But he was offside as the defender headed at goal from a corner and the goal is ruled out.
30'

BIG HRADECKY SAVE

Bittencourt breaks through on the left and into the Leverkusen box. He clips the ball past Tah for Kramaric, who in turns clips it towards goal at the near post, but Hradecky gets a big right hand to the ball and beats it away before his side are able to clear.
27'

NOW A 4-2-3-1 FOR LEVERKUSEN

Bosz has been forced into a tactical change now, with Baumgartlinger and Aranguiz playing in defensive midfield. Havertz is on the right wing, Bailey on the left, and Brandt through the middle behind Volland.
25'

BELLARABI HEADING OFF

The winger looks to have injured his right thigh and limps down the tunnel for further treatment. We'll see a substitute in his place shortly.
21'

VOLLAND WITH THE MISS OF THE SEASON

Standing alone at the back post, Volland just had to tap in Havertz's pass across the floor. Baumann was stranded and the goal was wide open, but the former Hoffenhiem forward went at it with the inside of his boot and totally miss-connected, seeing the ball go into the lucky hands of Baumann a couple of yards out from goal.
18'

VOLLAND HEADS IN!

What a start we have had here. Brandt collects the ball on the edge of the Hoffenheim and curls a perfect ball to the back post with Volland in his sights, and the German heads home beyond Baumann to bring the game level.

BELFODIL PUNISHES LEVERKUSEN!

A superb long pass from Hübner finds Kramaric in behind the Leverkusen defence down the left wing. The Croatian then finds Belfodil with a lovely outside-of-the-foot ball to the edge of the box, and his striker partner controls and fires the ball into the bottom corner. A goal totally against the run of play and one that punishes Leverkusen for their missed chances already in this game.

LEVERKUSEN STARTING SUPERBLY

An outstanding long-range pass from Tag finds Bailey on the charge, but the winger can't get the ball into Volland's feet in the box. Another half-chance for the visitors in what has been a fantastic start to this game for them. Hoffenheim have struggled to keep possession at all so far.
6'

BAILEY DANCING!

Another counter from the visitors through Havertz in midfield who, like Brandt, finds Bailey on the left side of the box. The Jamaican runs at Kaderabek, weaving in and out and giving the Hoffenheim wing-back real nightmares before attempting a shot off at goal. But his effort is blocked and the home side can clear.
3'

HUGE CHANCE!

Leverkusen almost take an early lead as Brandt wins the ball in the Hoffenheim half and immediately sends Baily in behind the home side's defence on the left side of the box. He cuts the ball across goal to Volland at the back post, but the ball just doesn't fall for him and the chance goes begging.

UNDERWAY IN SINSHEIM!

We're underway here at the PreZero Arena in the village of Sinsheim. Leverkusen in all white tonight as they usually are on the road.
Kick-off!

LEVERKUSENS TURN FOR AWAY DAY FUN?

When these two sides met at the BayArena earlier in the season it was Hoffenheim who came out convicing winners. Julian Nagelsmann's side scored four as they took all three points against a Leverkusen side then managed by former coach Heiko Herrlich. Will we see a different story today?

KRAMARIC MAKES THE CUT

Despite returning from international duty with a knee problem, as Julian Nagelsmann said at his pre-match press conference, the Croatian forward starts tonight for Hoffenheim. He's the club's top scorer this season with 10 goals. Reiss Nelson misses out due to a minor injury, whille Leverkusen are at full strength, with Julian Baumgartlinger coming in for Charles Aranguiz in midfield. He's tasked with the main defensive duties in between Kai Havertz and Julian Brandt in the middle.

LEVERKUSEN LATEST

Recent history in this fixture has favoured the away side, with the visitors romping to a 4-1 win in the last two Bundesliga encounters. Leverkusen will hope that run continues on Friday, as they in turn attempt to close the gap to fellow European contenders  Borussia Mönchengladbach  and  Eintracht Frankfurt . Peter Bosz – who will also have to do without a suspended left-back, Wendell – will be expecting considerable improvement from his side after their  3-1 home defeat to Werder Bremen  just before the international break. The Dutchman has an otherwise full-strength squad at his disposal as Leverkusen look to pick up their seventh win in 10 league outings since the turn of the year

HOFFENHEIM LATEST

Injury-hit midfielder Dennis Geiger is joined by top scorer  Andrej Kramaric  on the absentees' list, with the Croatian forward returning from international duty with knee trouble. Julian Nagelsmann's side were  held to a draw at VfB Stuttgart  last time out, leaving them four points shy of the final European place –  sixth  – currently occupied by Bayer. A win would see TSG close the gap and move temporarily six points clear of  Hertha Berlin , who face a  tricky trip to RB Leipzig  on Saturday evening.

BUNDESLIGA IS BACK

After a near two-week international break, the Bundesliga is back tonight with nothing in our way now before the end of the season. And what a mouth-watering way for us to return to action, with nine-place Hoffenheim hosting sixth-place Leverkusen with both sides still hopeful of reaching a spot in Europe for next season.

Welcome along to the match centre for the game Hoffenheim vs. Leverkusen from matchday 27 of the 2018/19 Bundesliga season at the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena. Check back here for full information on the match.
