WHAT A FINALE!

Sargent is fouled on the edge of the box, giving Bremen one last chance. Up steps Pizarro, who curls the free-kick through the wall - taking a couple of deflections along the way - and into the net to snatch a draw for Bremen!

UNDER WAY AGAIN

Here we go again as Bremen get the ball rolling once more. No changes to either side at the break.

SCRAPPY

Hertha are trying to run down the clock as best they can, using every trick in the boko. Bremen are getting frustrated and there's some argy-bargy as tempers fray. The referee steps in to calm things down though.

BREMEN'S RUN TO END?

Werder are the only team to have scored in every single one of their Bundesliga games so far this season. Can they snatch a late one to extend that streak? The last time they failed to score was in a 0-0 draw against Bayer Leverkusen on Matchday 33 in 2017/18.
82'

ALL BREMEN

The Green-Whites are pushing hard for an equaliser here, pinning Hertha back deep inside their own half. Try as they might, however, they can't get a shot at goal and the hosts don't look like crumbling in the few remaining minutes.
78'

NO WAY THROUGH FOR BREMEN

Lazaro is booked for a tactical foul on Augustinsson, who curls in the ensuing free-kick from wide on the left. Langkamp rises highest to meet it, directing it back across goal to Sargent. However, it's just too strong for the American forward, who stretches for the ball but can't get a toe on it.
76'

DOUBLE SUB FOR BREMEN

We're into the final 15 minutes now, so Werder coach Florian Kohfeldt is going for it, bringing on Sargent and Möhwald for Bargfrede and Rashica. Can Sargent grab another late goal from the bench? He has two already this season...
72'

VISITORS DOMINATING THE BALL

Bremen have had 62 per cent of possession in the second half, up from 52 per cent in the first. Aside from a couple of hopeful long-distance punts, they don't have much to show for it though.
69'

GRUJIC SHOOTS

The Hertha midfielder pounces on a losse ball about 25 yards out and there's only one thing on his mind. He unleashes a powerful right-footed shot, but it's always rising and whizzes over Pavlenka's goal.
66'

BREMEN PUSHING

Rashica is shoved off the ball by Duda and wins a free-kick midway into the Hertha half, towards the right wing. Augustinsson swings it in and the ball finds Kruse at the back post. It bounces awkwardly for him though and his attempted cross back into the middle is claimed by home keeper Jarstein.

HISTORIC DAY FOR PIZARRO?

If the 40-year-old Peruvian manages to find the target today, he will become the oldest Bundesliga scorer EVER.
60'

DUDA THROUGH ON GOAL...

... but he hesitates a moment too long before shooting, allowing Langkamp a vital fraction of a second to make a last-ditch lunge and block his shot. A superb tackle from the Bremen defender there.
58'

SKJELBRED ON

Skjelbred makes his first appearance of 2019 for Hertha, replacing Torunarigha, who has limped off with an injury.
53'

STOP-START

The teams are still trying to find their feet in this half and there's not any real flow to it just yet, with possession changing hands very quickly. Kruse picks up the ball on the inside left channel and looks for a pass, but seeing that nobody is available he lets fly with his weaker right foot. The ball sails harmlessly wide.
49'

HERTHA ROCK SOLID

Bremen have a decent spell of possession at the start of the second half and stroke the ball around well, spreading it from left to right. However, the home rearguard is very disciplined and doesn't give the visitors any room to work with. Eventually, the Bremen attack peters out into nothing.

BREMEN SHOT SHY

The visitors have been below their usual standards tonight, no question, as Rachica sends a harmless effort wide, one of very few shots on goal. Coach Florian Kohfeldt has a job to do to get his players fired up for the second half.
44'

BRIMMING WITH CONFIDENCE

Duda is enjoying himself here, taking down a high ball and winning a free-kick after he's fouled by Davy Klaassen. You wouldn't bet against him scoring an 11th league goal of the season tonight.
38'

HITS THE WOODWORK AGAIN!

Hertha are well on top here and they could be 3-0 up! This time it's Duda who is denied, as his free-kick from all of 30 yards strikes the bar, with Pavlenka beaten all ends up. Pal Dardai's men deserve a second goal for this dominance.
36'

CLOSE!

Maximilian Eggestein somehow digs out a cross from the corner that Kalou is close to reaching! The ball makes it way to Selke, who tees up Duda, but the Slovakian's shot is blocked and Bremen clear. The visitors have struggled to assert themselves after a decent start.
30'

LIKE LONDON BUSES

Selke scored once in the first 20 games of the season. Now he's netted in consecutive matches.
29'

SELKE STRIKES!

He went close a few minutes ago and now he's found the net. Duda splits the Bremen defence with a pass that Kalou seizes on to, powering into the box and squaring for Selke to score from a tight angle against his former club. First blood to Hertha!

Davie Selke
21'

OFF THE POST!

Selke and Salomon Kalou are on the same wavelength here, and the hosts are inches away from taking the lead. Kalou clips a neat pass around the corner for Selke to run onto, the German firing a powerful half-volley past Pavlenka but against the upright.
13'

SELKE DENIED

Ondrej Duda spreads the play brilliantly out to the right for Lazaro to sprint on to. The Austrian plays in Selke, but the former Bremen man's touch is heavy and the ball rolls off his thigh into the hands of Jiri Pavlenka.
9'

MOISANDER TO THE FORE

Niklas Moisander may not be a household name among Bundesliga defenders but he's most definitely an underrated player. Now 33 years of age, he isn't the paciest but he's very experienced, and he uses that experience to twice block off a run from Hertha's Davie Selke.
6'

CHANCE!

It's been a scrappy opening but Bremen have had and spurned the game's first chance. Johannes Eggestein finds space in front of the Hertha defence and releases Milo Rashica, but the Kosovo-Albanian striker hesitates and lets Valentino Lazaro get back to challenge.
