BACK UNDERWAY

The second half has begun and Hakimi is still on the pitch for Dortmund, with no changes for either side.

FOUR MINUTES ADDED ON!

Time is running out for a winner...
85'

ALCACER SO CLOSE!

A stunning effort from a free-kick by the Spaniard which is dipping and swerving towards goal from 25 yards. But it doesn't dip low enough to hit the back of the net, instead clipping the roof of the net and keeping the score level.
80'

FRANKFURT ON TOP

The home side have enjoyed the ball in the last few minutes, with plenty of their possession coming in Dortmund's half and even around the league leaders' penalty box. Still anyone's game here, and the players can feel the tension on the pitch.
73'

HALLER ALMOST DOES IT

Some poor defending from Hakimi allows Hinteregger to smash the ball into the penalty area after a free-kick. The balls darts past Haller's head by just an inch, and the Frenchman will be kicking himself that he didn't get his head on it to divert it goalwards.
67'

BVB SO CLOSE!

Piszczek's through ball for Alcacer is perfect and the Spaniard gets a shot away at goal, but Trapp saves well. The ball falls in front of goal though and Guerreiro is racing to reach it, but an outstanding tackle from Hinteregger denies him a second goal in as many games.
65'

HAKIMI GOES CLOSE

The left-back sends a powerful strike at goal from distance and it has Trapp worried for a second, but it drifts just wide of the goal with the German international panicking on his line.
63'

MOMENT OF MAGIC COMING?

This game has slowed down in this second half with both sides much more reserved after the electricity of the first period. It might have to be a moment of magic that wins this game.
56'

JOVIC OFF EARLY...

The Frankfurt goalscorer replaced by Gacinovic in what must be a change of system for Adi Hütter's side.
55'

WITSEL FIRES OVER

Nice interplay on the edge of the box between Witsel and Alcacer but the Belgian's shot is high and wide over the crossbar.
53'

SANCHO FRIGHTENING N'DICKA

A burst of pace as devastating as Sancho's is so rare to be seen. He has been standing up the French defender all day before pushing the ball past him and racing beyond as if the Frankfurt man wasn't there.
50'

ALCACER HITS THE TARGET

Dortmund have the first shot on goal of the game as the ball bounces to Alcacer on the edge of the box. The Spaniard strikes it at goal, but it's quite a tame effort and Trapp can hold onto it with ease. A slower start to this second half, but they're just warming up...

HAKIMI DOWN

A nasty collision for Hakimi as he knocks into Rode in a challenge. His head bent back in a nasty way and he's getting treatment on the pitch as the half-time whistle goes.
42'

BREATHLESS HALF COMING TO AN END IN STYLE

It's been a superb first half here in Frankfurt and the final minutes aren't any different. Sancho and Reus showing their passion and desire at one end, and seconds later Frankfurt are on the break with Kostic bolting down the left wing. Neither side have had a chance since Jovic's equaliser, but this is an incredibly intense game.
36'

JOVIC DOES IT AGAIN

Rebic hits the crossbar with a header from a corner, but Frankfurt recycle the play and bring it wide to Rode. The midfielder swings in a cross and Jovic extends his leg out with an acrobatic move to poke the ball home past Bürki.

Luka Jović

BIG BÜRKI SAVE!

Huge mix-up at the back between Weigl and Diallo in the box lets the ball fall for Jovic in front of goal, and he gets a shot away and on target, but an outstanding foot from Bürki saves Dortmund's blushes.
33'

FRANKFURT CALMING THE GAME DOWN

After more than 15 minutes of pure dominance from Dortmund, Frankfurt are now finally getting back into this game. Ante Rebic fires a half-volley wide of goal from the edge of the box and the Eagles are looking to slow the game down to nullify Dortmund's pavy attack.
29'

REUS HAS ANOTHER GO

The Dortmund captain could have four goals already as he once again misses the target. Guerreiro's free-kick from the right wing is passed along the ground and into the box for Reus, but he hits it high over the crossbar from just inside the box.
25'

REUS HITS THE BAR!

Sancho finds Witsel with a neat pass into the box, and the Belgian plays the ball across the face of goal from right to left. It goes through everyone and runs loose for Reus to smash at goal from 10 yards, but his curling effort clips the crossbar on it's way wide.
24'

REUS FLUFFS HIS LINES

The captain is played in on goal with no one but Trapp ahead of him, but he drags his shot wide to the left of the goal with a poor finish. That had to be a goal for the attacking midfielder.
22'

WHAT A GOAL!

World-class play from Raphael Guerriero as the winger jinxes in and out of defenders as he makes his way into the box, leaving two or three Frankfurt players in his dust along the way before cutting the ball back to Reus in front of goal. And that always equals a goal...
22'

Marco Reus

GOAL!

0:1
Marco Reus
15'

SANCHO TRYING TOO MUCH

The English winger is found in space once again on the right wing and makes his way into the box with those slick dribbling skills we've come to love. He beats one defender and goes for the second, but the space is too tight and the chance is lost. Passing options were on if he had looked up...
12'

ALCACER SO CLOSE

A superb move as Sancho is found by Reus on the right side of the box and he cuts the ball into the box with Alcacer running in. The Spaniard goes for a flick through his own legs, but it's a superb block from Hinteregger in defence to keep him out.
9'

ALL ABOUT THE COUNTER

With the home side controlling the early possession, Dortmund are looking to use the counter-attack to their advantage. Sancho has been snuffed out both times he's looked to go forward alone so far.
5'

BÜRKI BLUNDER ALMOST PUNISHED

The Dortmund goalkeeper's clearance falls straight to Jovic, but his shot is blocked by Weigl on the edge of the box. Some half chances come after, but Haller and co. can't make the most of it. Dortmund have struggled to get out of their own half so far...
2'

FRANKFURT STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BLOCKS

Luka Jovic immediately shows his intent to come into midfield to collect the ball. The home attack showing it's desire with high pressing of the Dortmund defence as well.
Kick-off!

TOUGH AWAY DAYS FOR THE TOP TWO

While Dortmund are in Frankfurt - and that is, of course, our focus - Bayern are in Leverkusen at the BayArena. While Leverkusen are further down the table in ninth, they are bang in form since Peter Bosz's arrival. It's going to be a tough day on the road for both the teams at the top.

ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK?

We're expecting nothing but goals from this clash of the Bundesliga's attacking beasts. Four of the top five scores in the Bundesliga are starting on the same pitch: Luka Jovic (13), Paco Alcacer (12), Marco Reus (12), Sebastien Haller (11).

THE BIG NEWS

Neither side is unchanged from their last outing, with Frankfurt welcoming new signing Martin Hinteregger immediately into the starting line-up in defence. He will have to contend with Paco Alcacer today, who starts ahead of Mario Götze for the visitors. Lukasz Piszczek has shaken off injury to start at right-back for BVB: a major boost for Favre's side.
