Ludwig Augustinsson's determination helped him to meet Zlatko Junuzovic's early corner and power a header in for his first Bundesliga goal as Werder Bremen beat Wolfsburg in Sunday's northern Germany derby.

Afterwards, he admitted to that it had not been their best performance of the season, but in general Bremen's current form is good – even if they have to keep things up if they are to avoid relegation.

"I think actually we've played pretty well for a long time now and sometimes the result didn't go our way," he said. "Today I think we didn't play our best game, but we got three points and I think we're stable at the moment and we just have to continue and work hard because every game matters and we're never safe so we cannot take it easy."
