Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels admitted it had been a "very tough game" as his side went down 2-1 at RB Leipzig.
"It didn't work out that good for us," Hummels told bundesliga.com. "We lost the ball too often and allowed them too many counterattacks. They had 10 three-on-three or two-on-two chances. It was a very tough game for us."
Leipzig's win lifted them back to within two points of the top four and ended Bayern's 18-game unbeaten streak in all competitions, dating back to last November.
