Bayer Leverkusen's Jamaican winger Leon Bailey sees no reason why his compatriot Usain Bolt cannot make it as a professional footballer.

Speaking to bundesliga.com exclusively after Leverkusen's 4-1 win away to RB Leipzig, the 20-year-old said: "I spoke to him and he said that it was good. He enjoyed the training, but, of course, he was unfit. It was more about having someone there to help him. He wants to do whatever it takes to become a pro – he really wants to make it happen. You never know what the future brings. He's a champion and became one as his coaches taught him well. If that happens again, I don't see why not."
