Leon Bailey came off the bench at half-time for Bayer Leverkusen and scored a quick second-half brace to turn around a 3-2 deficit at the break into a 4-3 lead at Hannover as Die Werkself extended their unbeaten run to 12 games.

Speaking after the final whistle, the Jamaican winger gave his thoughts to bundesliga.com: "After the 3-2 I think we got so much more chances that we could have put away the game from early on. They were also strong I could say – they really were fighting and defending as a team. They were working hard for each other. And we were doing the same. So I think today was just a tough game between both. It is what it is."
