xGoals
The xGoals value of a club is calculated from the sum of all goal probabilities (goals and shots on goal) of that team. During a match, it’s easy to see whether the club is performing better than expected (goals > xGoals) - or maybe even higher (xGoals > goals).
The Lilies are the more dangerous team and are now deservedly leading 2-1 here.

Choreography for Kempe

The veteran is playing his last match for the Lilies today. The fans honour the long-serving captain with a choreographed display.

More on that Regensburg side

Jahn coach Munier Raychouni makes just one change to his starting line-up from last time out: Felix Gebhardt plays in goal ahead of Julian Pollersbeck, who takes his place on the bench.

Darmstadt teams news

Lilies manager Florian Kohfeldt makes three changes to his starting line-up compared to the last match (a 2-1 defeat at Kaiserslautern): Vukotić, Kempe and Müller all come in for Maglica, who serves a suspension due to yellow card acquisition, Corredor and Papela, both of whom drop to the bench.

Regensburg starting XI

Gebhardt - Bulic, Ballas, Wurm - Ananou, Ernst, Kühlwetter, Hein, Handwerker - Ganaus, Hottmann

Darmstadt starting XI

Schuhen - López, Riedel, Vukotić, Nürnberger - Klefisch, Müller - Hornby, Kempe, Marseiler - Lidberg

Farewell to a great

Tobias Kempe wore the lily on his chest for ten years, scoring 57 goals and providing 64 assists during this time. The midfielder, described by manager Florian Kohfeldt as "one of the greatest players in the club's history", is saying farewell to Darmstadt. However, it remains to be seen whether he will play on Sunday, as he injured his knee during training earlier in the week.

What Raychouni says

"We are preparing for the match in detail and want to deliver a good performance away from home, we owe that to the fans."

What Kohfeldt says

"We want to give Tobi the best possible farewell. We have great motivation to secure this home victory hopefully with him, but above all for him. Overall, there's still something at stake for the club: We want to maintain our position in the table, which would be very important for us."

A rare goal

Kai Klefisch scored his most recent goal when last these sides met, but his consolation strike in the third minute of stoppage time came too late for the Lillies.

Their first away win?

Jahn have been relegated. However, they are still aiming for their first success on the road. Their record at the Böllenfalltor is a positive one though, with three wins and three draws in eight matches.

Good record against Darmstadt

Jahn won the reverse fixture 2-1. Overall, Regensburg have lost only four of their last 17 matches against the Lilies.
