Promotion picture
Cologne need at least a point today to keep promotion in their own hands. As things stand, victory on the final day will send them up automatically.

Nuremberg team news
Yilmaz moves into the team on the left for Soares, who serves a yellow card suspension. It's hardly new territory for Yilmaz, who was a regular starter on the flank for a long time anyway.
Cologne team news
Ljubicic, Downs and Finkgräfe are rotated out of the starting line-up. Instead, manager Funkel opts for Paqarada, Gazibegović and Huseinbašić today.
Cologne starting XI
Schwäbe - Gazibegović, Hübers, Heintz, Paqarada - Martel, Huseinbašić - Thielmann, Waldschmidt, Kainz - Lemperle
Nuremberg starting XI
Kukucka - Drexler, Knoche, Gruber - Janisch, Justvan, Jander, Lubach, Yilmaz - Antiste, Emreli
Permutations
Cologne will guarantee promotion if they win and both Paderborn and Elversberg fail to beat Magdeburg and Eintracht Braunschweig respectively. That is the only way they can book a top-two spot this weekend.

Cult fans trembling with anticipation
What Friedhelm Funkel says
"In recent weeks, the team has tried primarily to look good against the ball and they've done that well. Now we want to improve the team's processes when we're in possession. We want to play forward, score goals and win the match. To do that, you need to have some good ideas with the ball."
What Miroslav Klose says
"Tomorrow is about saying farewell in front of our supporters. We've had very successful evening matches so far this season. We're going into tomorrow's match with this spirit."

The first Cologne training session under Funkel
A piece of history
Cologne secured the first ever title of the Bundesliga era with a 4-0 final victory against Nuremberg.
Welcome guest
Nuremberg have won their last four home matches (all in the Bundesliga) and are unbeaten in their past nine in all competitions against Cologne, winning eight. The last time Cologne celebrated a victory in Nurember was in December 2002, in the DFB Cup, while their last league win at FCN was almost 35 years ago (4-0 in October 1990, in the Bundesliga).
Funkel new Cologne coach
Friedhelm Funkel is the new head coach of Cologne. The 71-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the current season.
Strong record for Cologne
The two clubs faced each other 50 times in the Bundesliga, but this will be just their fourth Bundesliga 2 encounter. Cologne have collected just seven points from the first three at this level.
Recent meetings
Before Cologne's 3-1 victory in the reverse fixture, the last time both teams met in the Bundesliga was in 2011/12, when Nuremberg won both encounters 2-1.
Struber and Keller leave
After the disappointing 1-1 draw against Regensburg, Cologne took action: Manager Gerhard Struber and sporting director Christian Keller have both left the club.
