Aubameyang: career in pictures
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is in the form of his life with Borussia Dortmund. We trace his career to date, starting from his youth days to his emphatic exploits in 2015/16.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took his first footballing steps in Europe as part of Italian club AC Milan's youth team, together with his brother Willy.

In 2009, Aubameyang had to pack his cases again and move to LOSC Lille, where - playing in the Ligue 1 for the first time - he managed only two goals.
His next port of call was the Principality of Monaco, where he gained further Ligue 1 experience and a further two French top-flight goals before returning to Milan. Here he is challenging current 1. FC Köln forward Anthony Modeste (r.).
His next club - Saint-Etienne - were more convinced about his quality, turning an initial loan deal into a permanent move, and it is there where he picked up his first silverware with the Coupe de la Ligue, scoring two goals on the way to glory in that competition. He added 37 in Ligue 1 in 87 games.
That haul convinced Borussia Dortmund to take a gamble on the Gabonese forward, signing him in 2013.
While he may have made most of his headlines for his style and fashion when he first arrived...
...he soon started to make his goals do all of the talking, and the 2015/16 season has seen Aubameyang send records tumbling as he hit a purple patch, netting in his side's first eight games of the season.
