Bayern to face Raja Casablanca in Saturday's Final

UEFA Champions League winners FC Bayern München will face Moroccan outfit Raja Casablanca in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup in Marrakech on Saturday

Marrakech - Only Raja Casablanca stand in the way of FC Bayern München and a fifth title of 2013 in the FIFA Club World Cup.

The Moroccan champions ran out surprise 3-1 winners over Brazil’s Atletico Mineiro on Wednesday night to book their place in Saturday’s final in Marrakech.

Spirit of Kuffour

Bayern, who eased past China’s Guangzhou Evergrande in Tuesday’s other semi-final, last lifted the trophy in 2001 after beating Argentinian giants Boca Juniors 1-0, thanks to an extra-time winner from former defender Samuel Kuffour.

Saturday's meeting will represent only the second time under the competition’s current guise that a South American and European outfit have not contested the final.
