Munich - FC Bayern München attacking midfielder Franck Ribery is a doubt for France's vital FIFA World Cup qualifier against Belarus on Tuesday night.
The current UEFA European Player of the Year has been complaining of soreness in the gluteal muscles and had to sit out training with Les Bleus this weekend.
"We did a preliminary medical examination after I had complaints about a potential injury," said the 30-year-old, "I can't say that I'm 100 percent fit but I'm really hoping to play," Ribery told French TV station Téléfoot.
France lie second in Group I of the European Qualifying section with eleven points, three behind world champions Spain, but five ahead of Finland, and six ahead of Georgia, with whom they drew 0-0 on Friday night. Belarus are bottom of the group with four points.
