LIVE coverage:

Full-time +10 mins: That brings an end to our LIVE coverage of the tie of the round in the DFB Cup quarter-finals. FC Bayern Munich finally get one over on a Borussia Dortmund side which had dominated domestically for the past two years. Now the Munich Reds are on for the double... or even the treble. Stay with us on for a full match report, as well as pictures from the game and further analysis...

FULL-TIME: And there goes the final whistle!!! Bayern finally get one over on their great foes Dortmund thanks to Arjen Robben's superb winning strike shortly before the break. The Allianz Arena erupts as the result sinks in and the relief on the FCB players' faces - Robben's in particular - is some picture!

89' A late opportunity goes begging as Mario Mandzukic heads straight into the arms of Weidenfeller in acres of space. At the other end Robert Lewandowski, anonymous throughout, sends an overhead kick into the stands. The stats show an equaliser would be anything but merited at this late stage.

81' It's looking ever more like a Bayern victory at the Allianz... Dante had a double chance to head the home side two up, but his first effort was cleared off the line by Mario Götze and his follow-up tipped over by Weidenfeller.

77' Reporter at the Allianz Arena: "There's at least one more goal left to come in this match, but with the game opening up it's impossible to tell which way it will go. If Bayern score another it's game over."

73' A couple of good efforts on goal and another booking for Bayern in the meantime - the latter for Toni Kroos for a high foot on Sven Bender. Javi Martinez just forced Weidenfeller to tip over with a rasping drive, before Daniel van Buyten sent a free header just over from the ensuing corner.

63' Javi Martinez just picked up the game's first yellow card for a rather crude challenge on Götze. Meanwhile BVB boss Klopp has just introduced Jakub Blaszczykowski in place of Kevin Großkreutz.

62' Reporter at the Allianz Arena: "Bastian Schweinsteiger looks to be back to his best based on tonight's performance, but there remains a nervousness around the ground that won't be alleviated until Bayern score a second."

59' A couple of good passages approaching the hour with chances at either end. Manuel Neuer had to work to deny Ilkay Gündogan and Marco Reus, while Weidenfeller has just made a superb save to keep out Thomas Müller's effort at the other end. Cracking game this!

48' Dortmund boss Jürgen Klopp flips out on the touchline as his side fail to convert yet another counter... This time Mario Götze fails to deliver to the lurking Robert Lewandowski.

46' Second half now under way at the Allianz, which is still bouncing after Robben' brilliant goal gave Bayern a deserved first-half lead. Stick with us for stories, stats and more in the coming 45...

HALF-TIME: Bayern deservedly lead at the Allianz Arena thanks to a pearler of a strike from Dutch wizard Arjen Robben. The Munich Reds have enjoyed far the more possession and attempted eight shots on goal in the opening period. Impressive figures for an impressive side.

43' GOAL! The ball breaks loose for Robben to curl an absolute sparkler of a shot beyond Weidenfeller and into the top-left hand corner - Bayern lead!.

36' With half-time approaching both sides are finding time and space hard to come by, but a moment of genius from Schweinsteiger sees Martinez force Weidenfeller into a superb reaction save.

28' Bayern and Dortmund are cancelling each other out for the most part, with both sides struggling to find the final ball to break down the oppositions's backline.

19' Bayern are combining to great effect and enjoying the better of the play inside the final third as Mandzukic drags a shot wide of the target.

14' First big chance of the game goes begging as Toni Kroos failed to convert after Weidenfeller palmed straight into his path with the goal yawning!

8' Bayern with more of the possession in the opening exchanges and Arjen Robben has just got the first shot in on goal - the Dutchman's firm effort is repelled at the near post by Roman Weidenfeller.
