Munich - "We want to go into the final game in Marseille with everything to play for," said Borussia Dortmund coach Jürgen Klopp ahead of the UEFA Champions League Matchday 5 fixture with S.S.C. Napoli.

With a win against the southern Italian outfit on the fifth and penultimate Matchday of Europe's premier club competition, die Schwarzgelben would certainly be in with a chance of qualifying in the south of France on Matchday 6. Along with Dortmund, FC Schalke 04 and Bayer 04 Leverkusen still have designs on following FC Bayern München in representing the Bundesliga in the last 16. bundesliga.com rounds up the permutations for the clubs involved...

What happens if Dortmund...

...beat Napoli?

With a win against Rafael Benitez's men by a minimum of two goals, as well as a victory away to Olympique de Marseille on Matchday 6, then Dortmund would be through.

Should Dortmund win by only one goal and take three points from their final group game in Marseille, however, they could still be eliminated, if Arsenal FC win against Marseille on Tuesday, but Napoli beat the Gunners 3-1 at the Stadio San Paolo on Matchday 6.

All three teams would then, hypothetically, have twelve points, but it would be Arsenal and Napoli who would progress by virtue of their superior goal ratio of 5:5 to Dortmund’s 4:4 in games between the group's top three.

...draw with Napoli?

If Dortmund draw against Napoli and Arsenal beat Marseille at home then Jürgen Klopp's men will be eliminated. If Arsenal lose at home, and Dortmund draw, then there remains hope going into the final Matchday.

...lose to Napoli?

If Dortmund lose to Napoli and Arsenal win, then die Schwarzgelben are out.

What happens if Schalke...

...beat FC Steaua Bucuresti?

Schalke would be through to the last 16 if they win in Bucharest and Chelsea FC win away to FC Basel.

If Schalke win and Basel pick up at least a point, then it will go down to the final game between the sides in the Veltins Arena.

...draw with Steaua?

If the points are shared in Romania, then Schalke's qualification will depend on the outcome of their final group game against Basel.

...lose to Steaua?

It wouldn't all be over if Schalke fail to win against the Romanian champions. They would however, absolutely have to beat Basel on the final Matchday.

What happens if Leverkusen...

...beat Manchester United FC?

If Leverkusen beat the Red Devils, then they qualify for the last 16, independent of the result in Ukraine between FC Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Sociedad CF.

...draw with Manchester United?

If die Werkself pick up a point in the BayArena from the English champions and Sociedad beat Donetsk, then Sami Hyypiä's men would qualify.

If both games end in a draw, then it would go down to Leverkusen's final game in San Sebastian against the Spanish outfit.

...lose to Manchester United?

If Bayer lose to United and Shakhtar beat Real Sociedad at home, then in order to qualify for the last 16, Leverkusen would have to rely on United beating the Ukrainians at Old Trafford.

If, however, they lose, and Shakhtar simultaneously fail to win, then Leverkusen have their fate in their own hands on the final day.
