Manchester - FC Bayern München's has developed the uncanny knack of scoring in the UEFA Champions League.

After helping himself to his fifth goal in as many games in Bayern's dominant win away to Premier League side Manchester City FC on Wednesday, which moved them three points clear at the top of Group D, the flying Dutchman was full of praise for the European champions' captivating display...

Question: Arjen Robben, was that a perfect evening?

Robben: That game was just a lot of fun. I cannot speak highly enough of the team. We attacked brilliantly and deserved to win. It was simply a great evening and we should enjoy it. As a footballer, there's nothing better than putting in such a performance in that sort of stadium against that sort of opponent.

Question: Did the performance surprise you a bit?

Robben: We know what we are capable of, but that was exceptional. To be honest, we expected a little more from Manchester. They gave us too much space. Our style of play exploits that.

Question: You received a standing ovation from the home fans. How does that feel?

Robben: It's something really special that they showed me such great respect. It gave me goosebumps.

Question: So who can stop FC Bayern München?

Robben: We shouldn't talk like that. There was some bad press last time out in the Bundesliga after our game against Wolfsburg and now we're a super team. We shouldn't get ahead of ourselves. We must keep our feet on the ground because we've got another important game at the weekend against Bayer Leverkusen.

Question: Will we see a similarly dominant Bayern side at the BayArena?

Robben: We really hope so. It's important for our development that we build on the performance against Manchester. We have to recover well and now turn our focus to Leverkusen.
