One of a number of high-profile new arrivals at the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK in the summer of 2013, Aubameyang could hardly have wished for a better start to his Borussia Dortmund career.

The former Saint-Etienne striker flew out of the traps with a hat-trick in the 4-0 victory at Augsburg, becoming only the third Bundesliga player ever to score a treble on their debut, after Olaf Marshall (for Kaiserslautern in 1993) and Hermann Ohlicher (for Stuttgart in 1973).
