The curtain comes up on the 2016/17 Bundesliga season with a titanic collision at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on Sunday when heavyweights Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern München go toe-to-toe for the new campaign's first piece of silverware, the Supercup.

It won't be in time to feature in Sunday's Supercup against Borussia Dortmund, but the good news for FC Bayern fans is that kicker are reporting that Arjen Robben has taken another step on his road to recovery after completing running drills this weekend.
12:45 - BVB to win 1-0?
Dortmund legend Lars Ricken has backed his former club to beat Bayern on Sunday, but admits it'll be a tight contest.
"Both Bayern and us take the Supercup very seriously," said the 40-year-old, who currently occupies the role of Youth Coordinator at BVB. "Over the past few years the Bundesliga champions haven't usually won it, so maybe that gives us a slight advantage. Obviously we're expecting a very tense game. I think we'll win 1-0."
