With the opening of the Bundesliga just days away I have been wondering about players that would not usually come to mind when putting together my Official Bundesliga Fantasy team. I put together a list of players that would usually fly under the radar, but happened to star in the first round of the DFB Cup.

Put your faith in Flo and sign up to the Official Fantasy Bundesliga now!

Vincenzo Grifo, SC Freiburg

Fantasy value: 11M

Grifo scored two goals and picked up an assist in SC Freiburg's 4-0 win over fourth-tier SV Babelsberg on Saturday.

With his second goal coming from a direct free-kick and his assist coming from a corner, set-piece duties will again belong to the attacking midfielder, who found the net 14 times last season and looks set to provide plenty of bang for your buck this time around.

Vincenzo Grifo hit double figures for goals and assists for Bundesliga 2 champions SC Freiburg last season.

Andrej Kramaric, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim

Fantasy value: 11M

Kramaric warmed up for the visit of promoted RB Leipzig on the opening weekend with a clinical hat-trick as Hoffenheim beat fourth-tier outfit 1. FC Germania Egestorf/Langreder 6-0 on Sunday.

The Croatian forward scored five goals in 15 top-flight games after arriving from Leicester City in January, and if his DFB Cup display is anything to go by, then he looks set to add to that tally.

Andrej Kramaric's goals were key to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's survival in 2015/16.

Mitchell Weiser, Hertha Berlin

Fantasy value: 11M

Hertha's saving grace in their 1-1 draw with Jahn Regensburg, Mitchell Weiser came of the bench to score an 83rd-minute equaliser and also converted from the spot in Berlin's shootout victory.

From a fantasy standpoint, the most interesting facet of his appearance was that Weiser, who is listed as a defender on Official Bundesliga Fantasy, replaced Genki Haraguchi on the right wing and not Peter Pekarik at right-back.

Hertha Berlin right-sided specialist Mitchell Weiser is a natural in the final third.

Dominik Kaiser, RB Leipzig

Fantasy value: 8M

He may have missed the deciding spot-kick in the shootout with SG Dynamo Dresden, but Dominik Kaiser still underlined his fantasy potential for the season ahead.

Scorer of Leipzig's second goal in the 2-2 draw, also from the spot, the club captain pulled the strings in midfield, was strong in the tackle and also has set-pieces duties on his side. Kaiser was involved in 13 goals in 30 Bundesliga 2 appearances last season and is well worth consideration at a price below 10M.

RB Leipzig captain Dominik Kaiser brings all-round value to the Official Fantasy Bundesliga table.

Antonio Colak, SV Darmstadt 98

Fantasy value: 4M

With Victor Obinna, Sven Schipplock and Felix Platte waiting in the wings, Antonio Colak bolstered his chances of featuring against 1. FC Köln on Matchday 1 with a well-taken hat-trick in Darmstadt's 7-0 thumping of Bremer SV.

The Lillies are unlikely to be among the highest-scoring sides in the Bundesliga, but priced at just 4M, Colak could be the perfect low-priced back-up, allowing you to invest more wisely elsewhere.

Antonio Colak (2nd.r) might just be the perfect replacement for Sandro Wagner at SV Darmstadt 98.
