Marco Fabian netted his first goals for Eintracht Frankfurt to rescue a dramatic 3-3 draw against Bundesliga 2 outfit Eintracht Braunschweig in the Eagles’ final friendly before the Bundesliga restart.

Strikes either side of the break from Marcel Correia and Mijat Gacinovic meant the teams were level at the hour-mark, but Braunschweig rushed into a two-goal lead after Orhan Ademi scored twice. Frankfurt responded in kind, however, Fabian nodding in to cut the deficit in the 74th minute, before finishing calmly one minute later to level proceedings.

Having scored his first goals for his new club, Fabian was then replaced in the 80th minute by Joel Gerezgiher.

Eintracht Frankfurt welcome VfL Wolfsburg to the Commerzbank Arena on Matchday 18.
