Ukrainian striker Artem Kravets has joined VfB Stuttgart on loan until the end of the season.

'I want to help Stuttgart be successful'

Kravets arrives from Dynamo Kiev until the end of the season, having competed his medical on Monday.

The 26-year-old centre forward scored 15 goals in 24 appearances for Dynamo Kiev last season, as well as finding the net twice in the club's UEFA Europa League campaign. He also made four appearances for Kiev in this term's UEFA Champions League, helping the club to qualify from the group stages ahead of the likes of FC Porto.

“I want to help Stuttgart be successful in the second half of the season and I want to learn German quickly,” said Kravets upon completing his transfer. He joins compatriot Borys Tashchy at VfB, and admitted he had discussed the move with the Stuttgart reserve player before agreeing to join the club.

Kravets has 12 international caps for his country and will be eyeing a place in Ukraine's squad for the UEFA European Championships in France next summer. If selected, he would face Germany in the group stages of the tournament.
