Yet record-breaking youngsters are not only confined to the Bundesliga history books. SV Werder Bremen's 19-year-old youngster Ousman Manneh became the first Gambian to score in Germany's top flight when he netted the winner in a 2-1 triumph over Bayer 04 Leverkusen, while Borussia Dortmund's American teenager Christian Pulisic has been re-writing the script ever since he burst onto the scene in January this year.
