No fewer than 17 Bundesliga stars have been named in their nations' provisional squads for the Copa America Centenario, with Mexico marksman Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez and USMNT midfielder Christian Pulisic in particular eyeing records when the tournament kicks off in the United States on 3 June.

Mexican pair Chicharito and Marco Fabian are likely to make the cut for El Tri, who will provide their final list of 23 players on 20 May. Bayer 04 Leverkusen striker Chicharito will hope to take his impressive domestic form into the competition. The former Manchester United FC and Real Madrid CF man has scored 17 Bundesliga goals this season. If he can score four more in the USA, he will overtake Jared Borgetti as his country's all-time top scorer.

Pulisic could face Dortmund teammate Adrian Ramos in the opening game. Ramos is likely to be named in Colombia's final selection, and the US kick off the tournament against the Colombians in Santa Clara on 3 June. Champions-elect FC Bayern München are set provide two players at the competition, with Arturo Vidal the heartbeat of Copa America holders Chile's side, and Douglas Costa an attacking option for Dunga's Brazil.
