Douglas Costa and Luiz Gustavo have been confirmed for Brazil's Copa America Centenario squad. Brazil whittled their 40-man provisional list down to 23 on Thursday, with the two Bundesliga stars making the cut.

Costa has enjoyed an impressive maiden campaign in Germany's top flight, scoring four goals and assisting nine to help propel FC Bayern München to a likely fourth consecutive Bundesliga title. The 25-year-old winger has been capped 17 times for the Selecao, with each of his three senior international goals scored within the last year.

VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo is the third-most capped player in Dunga's squad behind FC Barcelona's Dani Alves and Hulk of FC Zenit. The former FC Bayern man helped Brazil to the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2013 - the same year he won a Bundesliga, DFB Cup and UEFA Champions League treble with the Bavarian giants.

Former VfB Stuttgart midfielder Dunga is hoping to steer Brazil to their first continental title since 2007. Brazil - drawn in Group B alongside Ecuador, Haiti and Peru - kick off their campaign against the Ecuadorians at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on 4 June.
