This year will be the fourth time that Wolfsburg have toured China following trips in 2000, 2012 and 2014. On 18 May, Dieter Hecking's men will take on Chinese Super League side Changchun Yatai, before facing an as yet unnamed European side in the city of Zhuhai three days later.

The Lower Saxon club are currently and six points off the final UEFA Champions League spot ahead of this weekend's home game with FC Augsburg.
