Feared marksmen Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar will contest three points when Bayer 04 Leverkusen travel to FC Schalke 04 on Saturday, but the clubs' mascots - Brian the Lion and Erwin - have already faced off for bragging rights ahead of the Matchday 31 encounter.

The crowd-pleasing duo met for a series of challenges to decide which of them will be strutting proudest on the VELTINS Arena pitch before kick-off on Saturday.

The pair went head-to-head on the basketball court, raced each other around the centre circle and even had a 'dizzy penalty' shoot-out as well as a number of other wacky tests to see who would come out on top.
