  • Aubameyang to sit out Wednesday's DFB Cup semi-final in Berlin
  • A toe injury has sidelined the 23-goal striker
  • Former Hertha man Ramos likely to deputise

Borussia Dortmund will be without top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for Wednesday's DFB Cup semi-final at Hertha Berlin due to a toe injury.

Aubameyang sustained a toe injury in training on Tuesday, and will sit out his team's encounter at the Olympiastadion.

In his pre-match press conference, BVB coach Thomas Tuchel had been optimistic the striker, who has 23 Bundesliga goals this season, would be available.

Adrian Ramos is likely to deputise in Aubameyang's absence.
