    Of the 81 Bundesliga goals Reus has scored to date, 34 have been the all-important strikes to put his side 1-0 up.During his spell in Mönchengladbach, Reus was named Germany’s Player of the Year for 2012 - the first Foals player to earn the prize in a quarter of a century. The last person to do so was Uwe Rahn in 1987.On 31 May 2008, Reus’ 19th birthday, he scored his first ever goal for RW Ahlen, securing the club promotion to Bundesliga 2.
