Hinrunde highlights: Matchday 7 - Ousman Manneh's fairy-tale strike

Not a single round of fixtures went by without something worthy of the highlight reel, which made our mid-season task of selecting the standout encounter from Matchdays 1 through 16 all the more difficult - but we got there in the end!
Ousman Manneh scored his first Bundesliga goal as SV Werder Bremen edged out Bayer 04 Leverkusen to the tune of 2-1 on Matchday 7. It was a milestone moment in more ways than one for the 19-year-old Gambian striker, who had fled his homeland just two years earlier, before settling in Bremen as a refugee.
