Today, you can open the door on a lesson in goal-scoring with the legendary Gerd Müller.
Nicknamed 'Der Bomber Der Nation', Müller scored goals for fun during a decorated club career at FC Bayern München, and to this day is the Bundesliga's all-time leading marksman on 365 goals in 427 appearances.
He famously broke the 40-goal barrier in 1971/72, scooping his fourth of seven eventual Torjägerkanone accolades and setting the gold standard to which all Bundesliga strikers aspire.
