Liverpool loanee Divock Origi scores first Bundesliga goal for Wolfsburg
Divock Origi, on loan at VfL Wolfsburg from Liverpool, scored his first goal in Germany's top flight on Matchday 5.
The Beligian international, loaned to the Volkswagen Arena side for the remainder of the season, darted in front of his marker to convert a Paul-Georges Ntep cross and put Wolfsburg into a first-half lead against Werder Bremen.
The game was the Wolves' first outing following the dismissal of Andries Jonker as coach and his replacement with Martin Schmidt. Fin Bartels equalised in the second half to ensure the spoils were shared in a 1-1 draw.
