Having landed safely in China on their tour of the Far East, Bayern Munich have announced a 22-man squad for their upcoming friendlies on the Bundesliga World Tour, with new signing James Rodriguez the most high-profile addition.

As part of the International Champions Cup, Carlo Ancelotti’s side will play Arsenal (19 July) and AC Milan (22 July) in China, before travelling to Singapore to take on Chelsea (25 July) and Inter Milan (27 July).

From the original squad list published on 10 July, Jerome Boateng and Arjen Robben have missed out after picking up thigh and calf injuries respectively, while winger Douglas Costa has left the club for Juventus. Alongside James, Bayern's other flagship summer signing Corentin Tolisso has been included.

Fellow new arrivals Niklas Süle and Sebastian Rudy are absent having been given an extended break following their Confederations Cup exploits with Gemany, while Arturo Vidal is also recuperating after the tournament and Manuel Neuer is recovering from a foot injury.

Ancelotti has handed spots to a raft of youngsters, including 21-year-old Serbian forward Milos Pantovic and 19-year-old defender Felix Götze, brother of former Bayern star Mario.
