Dortmund - Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of highly rated attacker Adnan Januzaj on loan from Manchester United.

'Technically gifted'

After passing a medical check, the 20-year-old Belgium international put pen to paper on a contract keeping him at the Signal Iduna Park until the end of the 2015/16 campaign.

“Dortmund are a massive club and I’ve heard the fans here are truly unbelievable,” Januzaj told the official Dortmund website. “I want to achieve great things here.”

Januzaj, who will wear the number 9 shirt, has made six appearances for the senior Belgium team and was part of their squad at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil last summer, featuring in the team’s 1-0 win over South Korea.

“Adnan is a highly talented and technically gifted player who will complete our attacking department,” said BVB sporting director Michael Zorc.
