Cologne sign 19-year-old Portuguese defender Joao Queiros
Peter Stöger has made his third signing of the summer with Joao Queiros joining the Billy Goats from Braga on a five-year-deal.

“Joao is a huge talent that complements our defence. We are confident that he will take the next step in his development with the help of our team of coaches and will make the leap into the Bundesliga,” said Cologne general manager Jorg Schmadtke
Queiros, who played for Braga's U19 team last season, is also a Portugal international at the same level.

The centre-back played every minute of the U19 European Championship in Georgia this summer in which Portugal finished runners-up to champions England.
