Everything’s coming up Christian Pulisic! With the candles on the 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund and USMNT star’s birthday cake still smoking, Hershey’s celebrated son earned himself the perfect gift: a wonder-goal to tip Borussia Dortmund’s Bundesliga balance to 3,000.

"The 3,00th goal in the Bundesliga? That’s an incredible post-birthday present!" Pulisic beamed after helping BVB to a 3-0 victory away to Hamburg and Die Schwarzgelben’s fourth Bundesliga triumph in five games this term.

"It took a while to get going, but we earned the win,” the talented tyro added of a game in which Shinji Kagawa and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also found the target. “We want to win every game and haven't conceded any goals yet, so we're going to keep working hard and see what we can do," he continued.

Pulisic’s 79th-minute effort – coming after he accepted a Mahmoud Dahoud pass before outpacing Kyriakos Papadopoulos and shooting across HSV goalkeeper Christian Mathenia – was his first of 2017/18 in what was his fourth start for the Bundesliga giants this term.

In all, the USMNT star – whose career stats outshine those of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo when they were Pulisic’s age – has now racked up seven goals in 43 top-flight appearances for a Dortmund side making ominous noises at this early stage of the season.
