Winning the most one-on-ones in the Bundesliga this season…
“It doesn’t mean much. I felt pretty good out there. I feel confident at the moment. Unfortunately, things at the moment as a team aren’t going [well], which is the most important thing.”

Dortmund’s gameplan…
“[We thought] we could kinda let Bayern play a little bit and then get after them once they played that first ball inside. It wasn’t about the formation, though, in the first half: It was all about energy and we just weren’t ready.”
BVB’s second-half resurgence
“We came out with more intensity which was what we needed to do from the start. We came out and played our game and when we do that we have a good chance to beat anyone, but unfortunately it was too late.”
Teenage teammate Jadon Sancho…
“I’m happy for him. I always congratulate him when he gets his first games cos I went [along] the same path. I hope he continues to do well cos he can help us. He’s good, man, he’s a funny kid. I enjoy having another English speaker around.”

The coming international break…
“I think it could be a good thing for us just to get our minds away from Dortmund and as soon as we come back we have to be fully focused and ready to play. Hopefully it’ll be a positive for us.”
