The Bundesliga and its clubs have rallied around Borussia Dortmund and Marc Bartra after the attack on the club’s team bus on Tuesday.

Dr. Reinhard Rauball (DFL President): “The team has to cope with two things at the same time in today's game, but I trust that they can do it. In a very difficult situation, the team will do their best.”

Christian Seifert (DFL CEO): “Of course the events in Dortmund and the consequences of the attack were shocking for the clubs of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 as well as the DFL. We wish Marc Bartra and the injured policeman a quick and complete recovery. Good wishes also for Borussia Dortmund in what is a very difficult situation, especially for the team. With the cancellation of the game on Tuesday, the right decision has been made. We have great confidence in the work of security agencies in football matches and in the activities of the investigative authorities.”
