Naby Keita (RB Leipzig midfielder): "We gave everything today and worked really hard. It was my first brace in the Bundesliga - I've done it once before in Austria. Being second is great, but we can't liken ourselves to Bayern."

Watch: More form Leipzig hero Naby Keita on his stunning brace against Bremen:

Davie Selke (RB Leipzig striker): "The club mean a hell of lot to me, I have a lot to thank Werder for. There are still people there I hold close to my heart. That's why I didn't celebrate today. It was a deserved win in the end. The lads were fantastic going forward. We're a promoted club and we're grateful for how it's going. We're on a roll and we want to keep it up, but we're taking it one game at a time."

Ralph Hasenhütttl (RB Leipzig head coach): "It was a completely different kettle of fish playing against such deep-lying opponents. We had to be patient. We had to be proactive and stay alert defensively. Space was tight, but [Naby] Keita's capable of finding solutions in those kind of situations and that's what he did today. I felt confident after we went 2-0 up, but it didn't last long. We conceded quickly. Luckily we were able to still win the game."

Fin Bartels (SV Werder Bremen midfielder): "We knew that Leipzig are really dangerous, especially on the break. We wanted to sit deep and limit the space. Unfortunately, we didn't do much ourselves going forward. It was clear we had to change something when we went behind. We gave it our all at the end, but unfortunately we've come away with nothing tangible. We have to keep working hard and then we'll gradually climb the table."

Zlatko Junuzovic (SV Werder Bremen midfielder): "Leipzig played with a lot of variety, we played on the counter. Leipzig pushed for the opening goal. They did well. They've got some good players in the side and are very confident on the ball. We played well, but Leipzig were too strong in the end."

Alexander Nouri (SV Werder Bremen head coach): "We wanted to be compact and also a little bolder in attack. We were lacking that in the first half. The first goal was avoidable. We had the chance to equalise and we made it into a very open game. We showed the right mentality after going 2-0 down. They're the positives we can take from the game."
