Find out how your Official Fanatsy Bundesliga players did in the match.

Mikel Merino (Dortmund defender): "It was enjoyable to be on the pitch with my team-mates and playing in front of the crowd at this stadium. At the beginning I was a little bit nervous, that’s only natural with this stadium and it being my first match. I think I played with more confidence in the second half and my teammates helped me a lot. I’m vey happy to be in the squad and do my best for the team. It was my debut against one of the best teams in Germany. They are very strong and it was difficult in the first half as they were fit and could run a lot. Looking at the match it is a point won as we got the equalizer. But being at home in front of our fans we should have won but the team has to be happy with a great effort."

Sebastian Rode (Dortmund midfielder): "After going behind, we can be happy with the draw. But when you take the missed penalty into account, then we could have got more out of the game. We had very many young players on the pitch. We know we can play better and didn’t make the right decisions when to play the right pass. We lacked a bit of precision here and there."

Pal Dardai (Hertha coach): "When you see how the game panned out then 1-1 is a fair result. It was a man’s game tonight, which I like. My team were disciplined and to get a point here is a fantastic achievement."

Rune Jarstein (Hertha goalkeeper): "It’s always difficult when you don’t have much to do. In the first half there was almost nothing. But I have to be ready when the ball comes and I was ready. Making the first save helps you get in the game and I was a bit lucky in the one-on-one that it hit the post. When Aubameyang took the penalty I didn’t know which way to go and I had to wait a long time and I had a feeling he would shoot left. You try and look at the player but it is difficult. Today I chose the right side. We are a little disappointed that we didn’t get three points as we went very close. But we are also happy with a point as it is a difficult place to come to."
