With Tobias Strobl out injured, Borussia Mönchengladbach's Tony Jantschke could return to the first XI for the game against FC Ingolstadt 04 after coming off the bench in the 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig. Brazilian attacker Raffael has been unable to shake off muscular problems in time to return.

Alfredo Morales' appearance as a substitute in the 0-2 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday could not affect the final result, but Ingolstadt's USMNT international midfielder may get the nod to help Die Schanzer go in search of a much-needed first win of the season.
