FC Köln's clash with Bundesliga dinosaurs Hamburger SV , which ended in a 2-1 win for the Billy Goats. Defending champions FC Bayern München then impressively overcame title contenders Bayer 04 Leverkusen 3-0 in the Saturday evening game.
The aural goodness continued on Sunday as Borussia Dortmund beat Hertha Berlin 3-1, before Borussia Mönchengladbach round off Matchday 3 away to SV Werder Bremen (17:30 CEST), with both sides still to sample that winning Bundesliga feeling in 2015/16.
