Bayern No.1 Manuel Neuer set to face Real Madrid after surgery

Bayern Munich head coach Carlo Ancelotti says he is "100 per cent sure" that goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will be fit to face Real Madrid in next week's UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Allianz Arena.

Neuer missed the 6-0 win over Augsburg after undergoing foot surgery on Friday, but is training individually again.

"He came through individual training unscathed," Ancelotti told media on Monday. "Everything is going according to plan."

The Bayern custodian will be a spectator for Tuesday's Bundesliga assignment away to Hoffenheim, in any case, and is unlikely to be risked against Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker at the weekend.
