The Bundesliga’s popularity is growing in the United States and, like many clubs, Schalke have several well-established official supporters clubs in the country.

Two years ago, the Royal Blues opened an official online store especially for US-based supporters and they also have a dedicated Twitter account for followers based there. The club have had several US internationals on their books over the years, the most recent and notable of which was current LA Galaxy midfielder Jermaine Jones.

Whatever their reason for supporting Schalke though, Royal Blues followers in St. Louis have been invited to a special screening of the 90th Revierderby in the Bundesliga's history at 8:30 AM Central Time on Saturday.

The first such event of its kind will see Schalke supporters attend a “watch party” at the Amsterdam Tavern, where free Schalke scarves will be handed out and a German sausage breakfast will be laid on.
