Striker Moritz Hartmann remains as Die Schanzer’s only long-term injury absentee. Mathew Leckie faces a long trip back from Australia following their World Cup qualifier against the UAE in Sydney on Tuesday morning, European time, but the fact that the Mainz fixture is not until Sunday should allow Leckie enough recovery time.
